Real Estate listings near Dunrankin Drive Public School

Dunrankin Drive Public School is an elementary school in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, located in the Malton area. The school is part of the Peel District School Board and is named after the street on which it is located. It was opened in 1969 as "Westwood Public School". However, the name was later changed to avoid confusion with then Westwood Secondary School (now Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School) where students of Dunrankin go when they have reached grade 9. Dunrankin is a feeder school for Darcel Avenue Senior Public School, where students go once they have reached grade 6. Dunrankin attracted attention in 2008 by shutting off all lights, computers and electronic equipment for an hour for Earth Hour and participating in a 20-minute cleanup on part of the Etobicoke Creek Trail running through the Pearson Airport lands, scheduled to be opened to the public in 2009.
