Regina Exhibition Stadium, also known as Queen City Gardens, is an indoor arena located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Built in 1919, it is a part of the Regina Exhibition Association Limited and was home to the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League before the construction of the Agridome in 1977. Buddy Holly performed a Halloween show in the stadium on October 31, 1957. Exhibition Stadium still stands today and is used for concerts, agricultural exhibitions, minor hockey, broomball, and other special occasions. It is the oldest standing hockey arena in Canada still in use. In 2007, Evraz Place (operated by the Regina Exhibition Association Limited in Regina) began a $180-million revitalization program to upgrade or replace rundown or obsolete facilities over a ten-year period. The second phase of the program includes plans to demolish Exhibition Stadium, as well as the auditorium and other old barns.
